Dishcloth 01: Dandelion

Dandelion Dishcloth. Used Lily Sugar 'n Cream yarn and size 4.5mm.
Material used 
Yarn: Lily Sugar 'n Cream. Natural, soft, absorbent 100% U.S.A. grown cotton
Needle Size: 4.5mm.

Techniques used
- K, P: Knit, purl.
- P2tog: Purl 2 stitches together.
How to make Dandelion 
Insert right-hand needle into the third stitch down from the second stitch on left needle (this space forms the centre of the flower) and draw through a loop, leave loop on right-hand needle and knit 2, make second loop into same stitch, knit 2, make third loop into same stitch.

DISHCLOTH

Cast on 39 stitches (using crochet cast on if you would like it to match the bind off edge).
Knit 6 rows garter stitch.
Knit 2 rows stockinette stitch.
DANDELION PATTERN
Row 1 (RS): K39.
Row 2 (WS): K3, p33, k3.
Row 3: K39.
Row 4: K3, p33, k3.
Row 5: K6, dandelion, *k4, dandelion; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5.
Row 6: K3, p2, (p2tog, p1) twice, p2tog, *p3, (p2tog, p1) twice, p2tog; rep from * to last 5 sts, p2, k3.
Rows 7-10: Rep rows 1-4.
Row 11: K10, *dandelion, k4; rep from * to last 5 st, k5.
Row 12: K3, p6, *(p2tog, p1) twice, p2tog, p3; rep from * to last 6 sts, p3, k3.
Repeat rows 1-12 for pattern desired length.

Then knit 2 rows stockinette stitch, knit 6 rows garter stitch.
Bind off.
